Harcourt Butler Technological University, Kanpur is one of the best engineering colleges of India. So the cutoffs are quite higher than any other college. You know the cutoffs change every year so it is quite difficult to predict. Now going by last year's cutoffs, it would be difficult to get any of the branches through general category as the seats through general category filled within 70,000 to 80,000 rank. Through SC Category, you can expect branches like Plastic Technology, Leather Technology etc. Getting any other branches would be difficult. However this is based on previous year cutoffs and this year the cutoffs might change.
