On the basis of Josaa rankings of previous years, you should have a rank better than 60000 to get a good government institute mentioned in the Josaa list. However, some nits have home state reservation. If you are from one of those states you can get a decent branch in them with your current jee main rank. These nits are- Sikkim, Agartala, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Pudduchery and Harmipur.
If you are not getting a government college under Josaa, you can try for private colleges. You can fill the details in career 360's college predictor. It can help in predicting a good college for yoy. If still you are not eligible for good colleges like lpu, bennett, etc. But you can attempt their entrance exams. If you score good in them, you can grab a seat in them.
As you know competition is very strong and you need to be best for taking admission ; as there are only near about 20000 seats in nits ; IIITs and other GFTI s .
The rank you secured is not enough to get admission in good colleges like nits and IIITs .
But you can go with state government college like YMCA ; dcrust etc. Or in other state government college and in private college from your category rank.
So you should look for previous years cut offs for reference.
Good luck
