my jee mains rank is 75,469 in general category.can i get electrical branch in any nit iiit or other govt college.

NITs and IIITs, being government colleges have a very high cut-offs for all of it's courses. Electrical branch being one of the in-demand courses would definitely have a high cut-off. So it is very difficult for a general category student with above 75000 rank to get admission in a government college. You can still try through JoSAA counseling, but it is difficult. So set up a preference list, and you will be allotted the course and college at the top of the list according to your merit. All the best!

According to the previous year cutoff trends, you may have chances in the following NITs/GFTI:- NIT Uttarakhand, NIT Hamirpur, NIT Silchar,  NIT Srinagar, Assam University, NIT Goa, NIT Raipur, NIT Jalandhar, NIT Puducherry, NIT Agartala, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Manipur, NIT Mizoram.
