To get admission in NITs you need to register for JoSAA counseling....For JoSAA your category rank will be considered....

In JoSAA counselling, first your category will be seen for your First preference or choice then it will be checked that if seat is available or not fir your category ,if seat is not available then your next preference will be checked.

You may have chances to get admission in lower NIT such as Agartala, Hamirpur, Puducherry, Silchar, Mizoram, meghalaya, Sikkim, Calicut and likewise....

You can fill the form for CSAB counselling (special Rounds) - CSAB registration is starting from 28 Nov....

while in CSAB counselling your CRL rank will be considered....There are limited seats for a particular category in any branch.
