Sastra is a great university to get more career exposure to learn & grow academically and also

sports activities are very much limited. The most wonderful part which I loved over the four year

period in SASTRA University is the friends & people I accumulated in and arround thanjavur,trichy.

when I entered for counselling at sastra. . They offered 1800 approximately. . But now they have

included new courses.. so roughly I can say total seat would be around 1900 - 1950 not more than

that. .. Approximately 100 -120 are there in chemical, bio-tech. .etc.

The admission on this school is predicated on two ways:

Stream 1: JEE main marks + board exam marks (70% seats)

Stream 2: only board exam marks (30% seats)

There is no specific stop to urge a seat in SASTRA University. It depends on the scholar who scores

the very best marks. If you've got appeared for JEE Mains then apply under stream 1. If your board

exam marks is 90-95% and JEE main marks is between 50-120 then you'll get admission under

stream 1.

For stream 2, your board exam marks should be a minimum of above 85-90% to urge a seat and if

it's quite 95% you'll get an honest course.

The last date to use is June 10th and that they will release the rank list thereon day.
