My jee sc category rank is 7267 can i get into iiit kottayam

You can surely get Computer Science and Engineering in IIIT Kottayam. However, I can't give you 100% assurance as the counseling process can be really unpredictable at times. Have other options as well but you have a fare chance od getting IIIT kottayam.

Congragulations on your JEE marks ,

I would suggest you should provide your AIR ranks ,based on which the actual seat alotment takes place, but considering you are of sc category and scoring 7267 rank in SC category means that you have almost access to all the IIIT s and some of the not so popular NITs.

Considering IIIT kottayam,

• One needs to take the JEE (Main) exam and either secure at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) in Class XII or be within the category-wise top 20 percentile in his/her respective Class XII board examination.
• Admissions are done on the basis of rank in JEE (Main) through JoSAA Counselling and CSAB Special Round .
• Last year there were around 7 rounds of counselling into this particular college,so the cutoff for the first and last round of counselling i shall provide here and the cutoff will almost be the same for this year too.
• The closing rank for SC is 5887 for the CSE department which means you have chances in less important departments like the EIE,automobile,Textile,Chemical and many such.
• So,You should be applying for the JOSa and should set your preferrences as IIIT kottayam , which you have high chances of getting enrolled to.
