So there are 240 seats in cse branch at silicon institute of technology.  The 2017 closing jee rank for cse branch was 69249. The 2016 opening rank in general category was 79143 and the closing rank was 246524. If you can avail reservation then you have a good chance of getting admission.  If not , you may have to go through several rounds of counselling to assure admission and it also depends on the ranks of other candidates applying since the competition would be high for 240 seats .
