My jimper 2019 rank is 3186 in UR category with percentile of 97.786 .Do I stand any chance of getting seat in jimper? please reply soon?

Dear Kishan,
We know that only 150 students for JIPMER Pondicherry and 50 students for JIPMER Karaikal get admission every year and as per your rank you are very far from that and according the list of shortlisted candidates mbbs course(2018-19) for non-resident of Puducherry UR category,the student with rank and percentile 99.6193265 secured the last position in it but this year UR candidates with 1-750 rank are shortlisted for 1st counselling and you might have not have chances for admission.

Sorry to inform but although you did great in the exam, but a rank of 3186 that too from UR Category wouldn't be sufficient enough to bag you a seat in such a prestigious college.
The cutoff rank for JIPMER for UR as of 2018 was 156 ann that of 2017 was 112.
You can clearly understand how tough the competition actually is for securing a seat in JIPMER.
