yes.using state quota u have a good chance

Hello Tofan,

Using State Quota of Odisha, you have much chances of getting a good medical college in Odisha..

Without State Quota, you may get a govt med college in Odisha through 15% Quota, but of lower ranks..

There are two ways to get admission in Med College
1) All India Quota - 15% Seats are alloted into this.. Through this method u can apply in any medical college in India (different states)
Website - www.mcc.nic.in
2) State Quota - 85% Seats in any medical college is filled through this procedure.. U can only apply in your state.. For this you need domicile of that state.. Domicile means either you have a residency in that state, or you have done 10+2 from school in that state.. U have to check website of medical council/health ministry of your state..
