Hello,

The difference in name format between your 10th/12th certificates and your graduation degree (from Mumbai University) could raise questions during the document verification process for government exams. However, it's usually not a major issue if the names match in content, even if the order differs.

To avoid problems, you can submit an affidavit or a notarized document stating that both name formats refer to the same person.

You may also attach copies of your ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.) where your name is consistent, to provide clarity during verification.

Hope it helps !

Hello aspirant,

The difference in name format between your 10th, 12th, and graduation degrees could potentially create problems during document verification in government examination processes. This is because government agencies often require consistency in names across all documents.

Here are some possible issues you might encounter:

  • Discrepancy in the order of names: The mismatch in the order of your names could lead to confusion and delays in the verification process.
  • Difficulty in establishing identity: If the names in your documents are significantly different, it might be challenging to verify your identity and match the records.
  • Potential rejection of application: In some cases, inconsistencies in names could lead to the rejection of your application for government examinations.

To mitigate these issues, it's recommended to:

  • Gather all relevant documents: Collect copies of your 10th, 12th, and graduation certificates, along with any other supporting documents.
  • Contact the relevant government agency: Reach out to the specific government agency where you plan to apply for the examination and inquire about their requirements for name consistency.
  • Provide additional evidence: If necessary, you may need to provide additional documents or affidavits to explain the discrepancy in your names and establish your identity.
  • Seek legal advice: If you're facing significant challenges, it might be helpful to consult with a legal professional who can advise you on the best course of action.

I hope it helps you.
