Hello aspirant, you have really good marks no doubt. Getting a placement or dropping for CAT are two completely different directions with different pros and cons respectively. You should give your aptitude tests and get a job too if you want. Working requires a lot of time and getting back on studies can be a little difficult but you will get through it. You can surely take your time fo r atleast 2 years to work or to just focus on your post graduation. All the very best to you.

If you are a good job profile then you can have a work Experience if not then please focus on CAT as
Work experience is one of the criteria to which some weigtage is given but it is not mandatory for candidates to have work experience.
At top B Schools in India weigtage is given to the following during the selection process :
1) your performance in class X, class XII and graduate degree
2) score in the entrance test (CAT/XAT etc ) 3) your performance in the personal interview
4) your performance in the group discussion / written assessment
5) your work experience.
