My fathers surname is different in his aadhar from my 10th and 12th marksheet and aadhar(Sanjay Verma in marksheet and Sanjay Kumar in his AADHAR CARD). Can it create any problem at the time of admission in IIT?

Hi aspirant,

It should not be a major problem but there must be a alternative solution to it because both will be handy to verify the date of birth and the higher secondary scores. So you must carry a self attested affidavit claiming that both the persons are same and it should be supported by relevant documents and proof.

You are also advised to carry the original copy of I'd proofs authorised by the government of India.
