Hello Aspirant.

Hope you are doing well.

Yes, there are chances for you to get the seat in the Private college in Maharashtra with this score because it's quite a good score but it also depends upon the category from which you belong whether you belong to a reserved or unreserved category because the rank for unreserved categories goes much higher than the reserved category and the rank criteria varies from year to year sometimes the rank will be more and sometimes less. Rank depends upon various other factors as well.

Hello,

If we go through last year cut-offs for UR, then with 401 marks and UR category, chances for MBBS through state quota seem tough as cut-offs are on higher side in 2020 under 85% state quota 483 marks secured seat in Vedanta Institute of Medical Science, Vedanta Hospital and Research Center, Palghar , this was the lowest marks required for MBBS, though there are possibilities for BDS in the following dental colleges-

  • Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Sanstha Dental College and Hospital, Aurangabad
  • Dr DY Patil Dental College and Hospital, Pune
  • ACPM Dental College, Morane
  • Vasantdada Patil Dental College, Sangli
  • VSPM's Dental College and Research Centre, Nagpur
  • VYWS Dental College and Hospital, Amravati
  • Yogita Dental College and Hospital, Khed

Check out previous year cut-offs at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-maharashtra

You may have chances for MBBS in the deemed universities through AIQ such as

  • Bharati Vidyapeeth Dee. Univ. Med. College, Pune
  • MGM Medical College, Aurangabad
  • Institute of Medical Sciences and SUMH, Bhubaneswar
  • M.M. Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Mullana
  • Sri Siddhartha Medical College DU, Tumkur
  • B.L.D.E University, Bijapur

however, this is completely based on previous year data, cut-offs are subjected to alter every year based on various factors such as

  • total number of candidates appearing for the exam
  • difficulty level of the paper
  • top NEET scores
  • reservation
  • seat matrix, etc..
