The cutoffs depend on the number of seats available and the number of applicants. Usually for government colleges a minimum score of 500 is needed due to the demand. But your score is very good for any other good private college.Anyways you may attend the counselling and see but chances for govt. seat is low. Regarding the colleges ,there are two government colleges for BSMS in TN . One is Government Siddha Medical College,Palayamkottai,Tirunelveli and Government Siddha Medical College Arumbakkam,Chennai . Together as per last year data they had 160 seats with 100 and 60 respectively. Apart from this there are about 7-8 good private colleges with approx. intake of 40-50 in each. There is one deemed university which is Dr. MGR Medical University in Guindy.
