VCI takes the AIR into consideration while taking admissions. 500+ would be safe score for VCI counselling for both general and obc categories as there is not much difference between the general and obc cutoff. But don't lose hope and try for your state exam that offers bvsc seats (85%). State exams also take students through neet marks.
