The only catch is that the type of seat you receive—government, private, management, or deemed—depends on your state of residence and any applicable category reservations.

You'll need a score of roughly 580 if you apply through the all-India quota, so I'd say your prospects are slim, but there's no harm in trying.

However, the 85 percent state quota is where you have the best chance.
