My Neet Score is 290. I am from Karnataka. I had Rural qouta and 3B OBC category. Can I get BAMS/BDS Government seat.

I'm sorry to tell but with the marks scored even with the reservation the chances are very low for you to get a government seat for BAMS or BDS. Anyways you could get a seat in private colleges through management.

BAMS or Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery is basically an undergraduate degree programme designed to make students familiar with the concepts of Ayurveda and use them for the treatment of patients. BAMS incorporates Ayurveda with the ideas of modern medicines, and students are taught a combination of both as part of the course curriculum.

As you mentioned your neet score is 290 and considering you are from obc category still it would be difficult for you to get the tier 1- 2 colleges . So, I would recommend you to kindly go through home state quota and try for some lower streams like bds.

However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
