If you are from Tamil Nadu, you can apply for the Tamil Nadu government quota counselling, and can expect a seat in one of the self-financing colleges. Considering the heavy competition, getting into a private college through government quota is not very certain.
But, if you are willing to go for Deemed Universities in Karnataka, you can of course try for management quota seats in Tamil Nadu Deemed Universities. DME is having a seperate selection process for NRI/Management quota seats, this year, applications for which has already started.
You do stand a chance for Karnataka Deemed Universities, but there is a sure availability of seat in Tamil Nadu Deemed Universities too.
