Hello there ,
Hope you are doing well. Firstly I'll mention 2020's cutoff score and closing AIR through Maharashtra state quota counselling post the second round of counselling for an EWS category candidate. It was a score of 568 with a closing AIR of 37,187 for a female candidate and again a score of 568 but a closing AIR of 36,989 for a male candidate.
As per the new guideline of the Supreme court , there's going to be a little increment in the cutoff score of states like Maharashtra and West Bengal which were once used be considered as low cutoff states . Also because no new government in medical colleges will be opened in these states from this 2021-2022 session .
The above mentioned cutoffs were post the second round ,so you can expect that the last Candidate who take admission into a government medical college through the first round of state counselling ,his AIR is going to be somewhat the closing AIR for a government medical seat for that state in 2021 because not a lot of seats will be left to be filled in round 2 of counselling.Hardly any seat will remain .
To know the exact cut-offs and the outcome ,we have to wait for the Counselling to commence ,but for now what you can do is decrease the closing AIR by a rank of 3-4k in order to know the probable closing AIR for your category in your state this year because that's roughly the margin by which the closing AIRs increase in the second round of Counselling as compared to the first round . Also remember that this is just an estimation. So , if we go by the above estimate, you seem to be a bit in the borderline but still have a fairly more chances of getting a government medical seat . What I would suggest to you is that , properly go through all the rounds of your state quota counselling and do fill your preferences properly during the choice filling process . Until then you can only wait .
All the best !
Hope my answer helped.
Hello,
NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.
To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-
• Number of applicants in NEET exam
• NEET question paper difficulty level
• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result
• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021
NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-
• General /EWS- 50th percentile
• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile
• General-PwD - 45th percentile
• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile
Marks wise cut off is as following-
• General - 720-138
• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108
• Gen PwD - 137-122
• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108
Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs for colleges is expected to increase compared to last year.
See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year.
With details you have provided you have chances of getting MBBS seat in following government medical colleges (previous year cut off marks )-
• Government Medical College and Hospital, Jalgaon - 571 marks - 35,599 AIR
• Government Medical College, Akola - 553 marks - 47016 AIR
• Government Medical College, Chandrapur - 568 marks - 37,015 AIR
• Government Medical College, Gondia - 568 Marks - 37,187 AIR
------ Also Since the seats from All India Quota wouldn't revert back to State Quota seats, you might expect slight increase in cut off.

MBBS or Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery also described as BMBS , an abbreviation of a Latin word which is Medicinae Baccalaureus Baccalaureus Chirurgiae. This is a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree program. The first two advanced and professional undergraduate medical degrees are Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. It is probably one of the topmost degrees in the world and therefore by profession, after completing MBBS from top medical colleges , an individual is officially transformed into a medical professional.
