Hi Candidate,

It's great to hear that you have qualified the Prestigious NEST Exam!!

NEST stands for National Entrance Screening Test which is conducted for admission into the National Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhubaneswar (NISER) and the Center for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai.

There are four sections in the exam- which comprises of Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology and inorder to appear in the Rank List you have to must qualify in all Subject-Wise cut-offs as it might have happened in your case too. You may have scored the overall cut-off but failed to score above the Individual Subject Cut-off.

Hope that this answer helps you. Have a Good Day!!
