• yes,as comparison with  last year in jadhavpur University ,mechanical stream closing rank for OBC-A was 4406.it means according to that you can get admission in mechanical stream in same university.but we are not 100% sure for that you will get admission it will totally depend on cut off.but there is more chances to easily you can get mechanical stream in that university
