As you have secured 40000 rank in obc category, then there is no chance for you to get any nits or iiits or top gftis.
But still you can sit in josaa counseling which is scheduled to start from 6th October 2020.
Now if you are confused that which college to select in josaa counseling, then it's simple solution is Select all the colleges and use all the maximum choices you have.
Give preference to government colleges first and then private or gfti colleges. Select all college from nit trichy to very low ranked nits. After that select the iiits, and then gftis. But still with this much obc rank you cannot get seat in josaa counseling but you should always try your luck.
The more you select the colleges the more your chances of getting any seat will be increased.
