My OBC rank in JEE Mains is 82917, I've cleared the percentile cut-off in OBC category with 72.78 percentile. They say only top 2.5 Lakh students are eligible for JEE-Advanced and my CRL is only 257849, Am I eligible for writing JEE-Advanced?

Don't worry you are eligible for JEE-Advance 2021 because your eligibility is decided on the basis of your JEE-Main percentile not rank.

As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2021 result so now it is clear that at what percentile the candidate is eligible for JEE-Advance 2021. As per the NTA, qualifying cut-offs goes like :-
