my obc rank is 16000 can i got a nit
Dear Aspirant
First of all Congratulating you on your nice performance and I would like to tell you that based on your rank in obc category which is 16000 so it could be concluded that your general rank would have been about 40,000 so there is a chances that you can get any NITs although there is very less chance of computer science and engineering but you can easily get civil engineering and chemical engineering. I would also suggest that you should also include IIITs and government funded technical institute (gfti), those are some of nice government colleges.Fill your choices smartly and include even those colleges which you think you may not get.

If a male candidate posses an OBC rank of 16000 ,he has a slight chance of getting into NIT. But he can be able to get BS-MS Dual degree course in some of the NIT's.
But, if a female candidate possess an OBC rank of 16000, she has chances of getting Production and Industrial Engineering or Materials and Metallurgical in some of the NIT's.
