NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Dear Sir / Ma'm, you need to keep an aggregate of 50% in your physics, chemistry and biology in the 12th board examinations if you are an unreserved candidate and 40% if you are a reserved candidate so that you are eligible for NEET. For MHT CET, unreserved candidates should have an aggregate of 50% in Physics, chemistry and mathematics and for reserved candidates, it becomes 40%.
Hello ,
The academic eligibility is based on the caste reservation you have acquired. As mention below,
For NEET:
General: 50% in pcb
OBC/ST/SC:40% in pcb
For MHCET:
General:50% in pcb
OBC/SC/ST: 45% in pcb
So , you will be eligible to both the exams only if you are a OBC/ST/SC candidate.
If not please dont let yourself down ! There will be plenty of other oppurtunities.
Good Luck!!
For eligibility regarding marks in 12th board is :-
UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45% (minimum aggregate marks only for PCB subjects)
For Mhcet eligibility regarding 12th board is :-
General category candidates should have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in 12thstandard examination (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates).
You didn't mention your category, so check using above details whether you are eligible or not.
thankyou
Feel free to ask your further queries if any
Hey there, Your PCB percentage is 47. For NEET you need minimum of 50 percentage in PCB in boards and if you belong to SC or ST Category then you need minimum of 45% and 40% in PCB if your category is OBC. There are some colleges which take admission with even less than 50 percentage, You can find that and choose the best one for you.
Hope it will help
Good Luck
According to the eligibility criteria of NEET and MHCET, you can appear for both exams if you have individually cleared all subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and your 5th subject from a recognised board in India.
So, if you have passed 12th with a passing score in all subjects, you are eligible to appear for NEET.
