Hello saurabh,First of all taking about your eligibility...you are eligible for giving jee mains 3 times when you are in class 12 and jee advance 2 times if you are in class 12.You have given 12 in 2016 so it means that you are only eligible for jee mains in the year 2018.Secondly for getting a seat in an NIT you have to get a rank below 25k which is a must if you are from general category because from this very 25k approx.6k will be advance toppers to so they will opt for IIT's and their vacancy will be filled by the remaining students in NIT's.Hope this helps.
