83.33 percentile means nearly 16.66 percentage students score more than you and if you calculate approximately rank by the formula it comes out to be more than 1.5 lakhs(may vary depending upon april strength and score of other students)

and in this rank it will be not possible to get a good NIT with decent branch because there are limited seats and compettetio is more .

So try to score more in April attempt

The cut-off will be announced in April for jee advance, so you have to wait till april to know the cutoff for JEE Advance because it will depend upon the number of students appearing in April too.

You can use the formulae given below to claculate your rank -

Rank Formula = (100 - your total score) X 874469 /100.

874469 are the number of candidates appeared for JEE mains 2019 January attempt.
