My physics is so weak so I want to revise class 11th but how I revise class 11th physics ?
Dear Adnan, there are 10 chapters in Physics from 11th Class syllabus for NEET.
- Make a timetable for those 10 chapters for 10 days and 2 hours each day. After each day and each Chapter, make a notes of what you studied and important formulae in that Chapter. Next day before you start reading the next chapter, memorise what you studied the previous day. Memorise the formulae and check if you got them right.
- Thermodynamics is also a Chapter in Chemistry but they are apples and oranges in Physics and Chemistry. The convention with which it is used in Physics is just opposite from the way it is used in Physics. Know the difference because it is where most students lose out on marks. Make a comparitive table if you want and stick it somewhere you can see and read everyday.
- Now Physics is a dry subject and the only way to make it interesting is it by watching educational BBC Videos. I was never a fan of these videos until I chanced upon one of the videos by BBC. It was about Gravitational law. The video and concept are still fresh in my mind. This might help you as well. Try watching the relevant Physics videos and try to remember the video. Next time you are studying that chapter, memorise the video and study accordingly.
- Take as many mock tests as you can. You might score nothing on Day 1. But your goal is to score atleast 150 on D-day. Taking mock tests will help you understand your current stand in Physics. You can improve accordingly.
- Follow NCERT Books religiously. There are few other books as well but nothing beats NCERT when it comes to basics.
- Improve the speed and accuracy of your calculations. Physics needs Maths and you need to be real good with calculations and accuracy. Practise without a calculator because you are not allowed one to the exam hall. Have post it notes with important formulae and keep them within your sight.
Hey there
If you are in class 12th then you you have less time left for both JEE and boards. In this case I'll advise you to complete your 12th physics completely for that you can watch lectures or just ask your coaching for extra classes. For 11th do specific chapters like laws of motion, work power energy, rotation, oscillation, fluid mechanics. When you are done with all these if time allows go for rest chapters. You may follow HC Verma it's the best book for building concepts.
Good luck
