1214 is a good rank in polytechnic. You can almost get the best desired college for doing diploma. But it will depend on your state and reservations.

So once check the previous year cutoff rank for the desired college govt or private. By those cutoff ranks you can have an idea about the seat allotment.

In my view you got a very good rank you'll almost get seat in top 10 to 15 colleges .
