My predicted score in JEE Advanced is 160. Can I get the chance in old 7 IITs (Engineering Stream) ?
AdRiraj I am sorry to say seeing the last few years records with your 160 marks your JEE Advanced rank will be around 14,000 - 15,000. With this rank forget about old IITs it will be very very difficult for you to get admission in any of the IITs.
Actually clearing just the cut-off doesn't make you eligible for getting in IITs these days because now 50,000 students among the students who have given JEE Advanced examination clear the cut-off where a total number of seats available for admission in all the IITs are only around 11,000. So, to get admission in any of the IITs you need to aim for getting a rank atleast above 10,000.
Still, the rank estimation I have mentioned you above is with the previous records which can drastically either way. You need to wait till 10th June to check out your actual rank.

Sorry to say but at this score you won't be able to make your way to iit because you can only get admission to iit if your jee advance score is good and your predicted score if 160 which means your rank is not in first 10,000 . Your rank is below 10,000 . You should score above 175 to make your rank in first 10,000.

Yes you have a chance of that but branch cannot be predicted until the counseling.
