My q I am diploma completed and I want starting b tech
U have completed your diploma and if you want to start degree then you have to first go through the central counselling process of your state. In that if you want to persue degree course then you have to fill the choices in the central process and then you have to go for the further rounds of and procedures of the admission process. There are some universities which have their own entrance exams. So first you should have the clear ides that in which course you want to go for degree, that is of course related to your diploma but you have not mentiones your diploma brnch so we are in confusion a little bit. But you can definitely go for B. Tech. in your respective branch but first you make sure that where you want to go and what score you have got in your exam and entrance exam and based on that get the proper counselling. And yes there are help centers running by the central admission committees so you can go there for further details they will help you to face the difficulty.
Thank you and all the best.
Students who have completed diploma and are aspiring to become engineers can apply for B.Tech Lateral Entry. The program allows them to pursue B.Tech programmes from the second year of the usual B.Tech programme at various engineering colleges in India.
Eligibility criteria:-
- You must have successfully completed a 3 year (most colleges only accept full-time diploma) diploma in engineering. With 60% aggregate marks.
- Admission on the basis of entrance exams. Different institutes consider different entrance exams. Most of the regional government and private colleges take admission on the basis of state entrance exams.
- Some deemed universities and autonomous institutes might conduct their ownentrance exam for admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry programs offered by them.
Best of luck!
