If you do not want to appear for the compartment exam then simply just don't pay the fee for compartment exam and wait till the portal for improvement exams opens. Once the portal is open apply for improvement exam choose the subjects for which you want to give the improvement exam and do all the steps then pay the fees and you are done. By this way you will be registered for the improvement exam in cbse for next year.
