Congratulations on scoring such great rank in JEE mains. IIEST Shibpur puts up 7 rounds of counselling sessions where they give the students, who want to pursue B.tech/B.E., 9 Branches to choose from. Now as the latest list of cut-offs has not yet been released by the college authorities, I can tell you that tentatively yes you may get an admission in the college but, It may take time and you may have to wait up till the 6th or 7th round. Although, You will be waiting for the branches like Mining Engineering and Metallurgy Engineering. So yes you may get a seat but, as some people consider it as , not good branches.

No your rank is a bit too much to get admitted to this college. However you can try for other colleges, you will definitely get a good college with the rank of 29000.
But, if you have your home state as West Bengal, then you will get a state quota reservation which will increase your chances of getting admitted to the college.
