Hello aspirant, for VIT you need under 5K rank for CSE branch in category 1 and under 20K rank for category 3 or 4. You have a very slim chance of getting CSE in category 5 for which you need to pay a very large fees around 5 Lakh per annum. But you should try to get admission in core branches in VIT Vellore or Chennai in category 3 or 4. For category 3 the fees is around 3.08 Lakh per annum and for category 4 it is about 4 Lakh per annum. So if you are comfortable with the fees then you should try to get a seat in core branches in VIT or according to my opinion you should try to get CSE branch in other colleges that will require a much lesser fees.

It is difficult to predict if you have chances of getting seat in Computer Science Engineering in VIT, Vellore or VIT, Chennai because the cut off changes every year depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. To get seat in VIT, Vellore your rank must be within 7000 and to get seat in VIT, Chennai in CSE your rank must be within 14000 but you have secured a rank above 14000 so you do not have chances of getting seat in CSE.
