Yeah your chances are there but very less since the cuttoff for SC are also getting higher year by year btjr ut yeah you are giving the more preferance to the college rather than the branch then in such case definitely the IIIT or even the north eastern NIT will be the options for you.

Hello there,
With a rank of 9635 through SC category you can get both iiit and NIT colleges. To get CSE and E&C branch and to get top NIT colleges your rank should be within 3-5k. With a rank of 9635 you can get all branches in mid to low tier NIT colleges. You can get admission in IIIT colleges such as IIIT Hyderabad, IIIT Bangalore, IIIT Delhi and others. Also there are colleges which accept jee main percentile for admission such as BITS, MIIT, SCIT, Amity university and many others.
