My rank in general category is 14309 and in NT2(NT-C) it is 279. Can i get civil in VJTI?

Based on your General category rank, there is NO CHANCE.
But, based on your Nomadic Tribes 2 rank i.e. 279, you can definitely get Civil branch in VJTI, Mumbai.
I can provide you the 2017 and 2018 cutoff ranks of VJTI, Mumbai for Civil branch, for NT-2 category.
In 2017, after Round 1-
Cutoff Rank- 3,459
In 2018, after Round 1-
Cutoff Rank- 4,528

I think this is not rank for cast. I think it is the jeneral rank that should the student achived in jeneral category and belongs to caste.
