Hello Raghav,

JEE main and BITS examination are totally different from each other. You cannot get admission into BITS college through jee main exam. You need to separately write BITS exam or you should be your state topper in 12th boards to get direct admission. Even if you are taking admission in BITS through jee main result you need to have a percentile of about 98-99. Also with your jee main rank it would be difficult to join other colleges. I would suggest taking a drop or write other state run competitive exams to secure a good seat in the best engineering colleges in core branches.

Birla Institute of Technology gives admission on two eligibility criteria for B.Thave ech

1. Must have 45% minimum aggregate in 10+2 having major subject as physics,chemistry,mathematics or biology.

2. JEE Main.

they select student upon the performance of candidate in Entrane Exam but no such cutoff is specified.
