my rank in jee mains is 56000 from general category I want mechnical branch is their some possibilities

Dear student,
First of all you must to mention your category in your question.
Now presuming that you belong from general category, then with the rank of 56000 in general category you cannot get mechanical branch in any NIT.
But if you belong to home state quota, then you can get mechanical engineering in some of the NITs like - NIT Sikkim, NIT Goa, NIT Mizoram, NIT Manipur, NIT Hamirpur, NIT Agartala etc.
But if you are an other state student then with 56000 rank in general category you cannot get any NIT.
So you must try for some other colleges like BIT Sindri aur HBTU Kanpur or some other private institutions.
