My rank in mains is 100497. I know its difficult to get NIT or IIIT but in counselling for which NIT or IIIT I should go 1st with this rank?

Your percentile is too low to get a seat in NITs considering you belong to general category. Now, the counselling process works on sorting people based on their preferences and their rank, if someone has a better rank he gets a priority in terms of his choice. Fill all the colleges and branches in descending order based on what you want, don't consider your rank while filling choices, it will be taken care of on its own.
