Since your West Bengal State Rank in SC Category is 14, there's a high chance that you would be getting a seat in any one of the Elite 5 colleges in the city of Kolkata.
Chances are high that you might get a seat in Medical College Kolkata (MCK), likewise if the option fails, you can assuringly procure a seat in NRS Medical College.
Both the colleges are extremely good in all aspects of education. You needn't worry about that friend.
