my rank in wbjee is 39828(obc-ncl), I m from UP.... as my rank is not so good. Should I go for counselling section or not? bcoz I think I'm not eligible for good college for btech (cse).

see every year cutoff score changes and it depends on certain factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category, choice of engineering stream etc. however it is not a wise decision to step out from counselling process. I suggest you to participate in the counselling process, give the choices as per your best interest and wait for the result. now the process in online so you do not need to travel anywhere unless you accept the seat in the rounds of counselling.
