My Rank is 11517 . Can I get Computer Science in Vellore.

Congratulations for the result. There are various factors such that category, number of seats available, number of students applied etc and all these decide the cutoffs but you have extremely a good rank. If we go through cutoffs of last few years' then with this rank it is quite difficult to get Computer Science and Engineering in Vellore Institute of Technology, in Vellore campus. Because for Vellore campus, in 2015, the closing rank for the branch was 15000, but in 2016 the closing rank was 7000. The closing rank for CSE in other campuses are higher. You can expect VIT Chennai campus, the chances of getting CSE there are high, as the closing rank for CSE in 2015 was around 33000 and in 2016 it was around 14000. So you can see that the cutoffs vary every year but it seems you have fair chances of getting CSE there as you have a good rank. You can check the cutoffs here
