Congratulations on your results see I have heard from many of my friends in IIT thetsay IIT Kanpur has best mechanical engineering department and but one of my friends who was wishing to get into our kanpur for mechanical engineering finally opted for IIT Bombay last year his general category rank was 735 so I asked him why did he changed his mind at last moment so he said there are better opportunities in IIT Bombay (placement and research wise)so he opted it and also he wanted to do msc so he opted out Bombay so I will also say if you have a chance so go for IIT bBomba you will enjoy it..For any queries you can message me ...Best of luck

If 353 is your CRL in JEE Advanced then you can choose any of the top 3 IITs (Delhi/Bombay/Kharagpur).
In case 353 is your Category rank then you can try among the top 6 IITs (First 3/Kanpur/Madras/Roorkee).
Surely you can get Mechanical brnch in any of these 6 IITs.
