Hello aspirant, your rank 4922 is considered a slightly good rank in the amrita entrance exam for ug admissions, But to be honest I don't think you have chance of getting ECE branch in Coimbatore campus . Amrita university offers reservation for the state category students , that is if you are a student form tamil nadu then you will get priority in getting admission than other state students.so,if you are from the state tamil nadu you will definetly get a seat in coimbatore campus ece branch . But if you are not from the state tamil nadu you wont come under the state category.

Let me tell you about the other campuses as well this may help you out.

As the coimbatore campus is the main campus of amrita university the fess structure is more compared to the other campusses. If you are looking for only ece branch then you definetly have a chance in getting admisision into amritapuri and bangalore campus as well with ece branch.The placements in all there campusses are almost same so, you dont have worry about that . The infrastructure is a bit small than coimbatore but other than that everything is fine.

Coimbatore institute of technology is a government aided autonomous institute. It is affiliated to Anna university. It is awarded 'A' grade by NAAC. It is difficult to tell exact cut off as you have not mentioned your state and category, but by examining the last year cut off in Electronics and communication engineering, students with rank 5000 have secured seat in ECE in university . As you haven't mentioned which state or quota you belong according to the previous year cutoff trends the cutoff rank for AEEE for Amrita University, Coimbatore is 2747 for Electronics and communication engineering for open category  and 16407 for state quota so, with 4922 rank you wont be able to get into Electronics and communication engineering at Amrita University, Coimbatore if you belong to state you may get into ECE because the cutoff rank for that quota is far beyond you secured rank so, in that case you will sure get into ECE at Amrita University, Coimbatore so, if you are open you won't be able to get into it but if you are state quota candidate you will sure get it.
