The concept of 6th subject is to increase the overall percentage of your result and to have more career options open .

It's made clear that it CAN'T replace any of the major PCM subjects . Whereas it can replace the score of 5th subject like computer science.

For example consider Physics-85 , chemistry-87 , maths-92 , English-95 , computer science -90 , physical education-96

Now with computer science , your percentage-89.8%

Whereas with physical education it is 91%

I guess you must be facing trouble with the aggregate score. Well, things cannot be changed now unless you're looking forward to the improvement. And the simpler answer to your question is no you cannot replace PCM aggregate by replacing any one of the subjects. There are mainly 5 subjects in most of the board examination, however, one is free to choose more subject on the basis of their relevance and future scope. You sixth subject should intentionally be a percentage boost but, unlucky you couldn't capitalize on that. But don't get disheartened by this.

The best you can do is to concentrate on your future opportunities and how you can build your future. What happened in the past should be left in past. Now, it's high time to choose your area of interest and work hard to achieve that.
