Hello Aspirant. You mentioned your expected NEET NTA Score is 550 out of 720 but you didn't mention your category. So I assume you belong to General category and I will try to give an answer based on that assumption. Based on your marks, your overall percentile may end up somewhere around 96.19 - 96.69 while your corresponding AIR may lie within the range of 56076 - 68226 .

If you follow 2019 NEET UG Cutoff, you have good chance to secure a seat at few top-rated medical institutes in Maharashtra:

  1. Government Medical College, Chandrapur
  2. Government Medical College, Gondia
  3. Government Medical College, Latur (may get)
  4. Shri Vasant Rao Naik Government Medical College, Yavatmal (may get)
  5. Swami Ramanand Tirth Rural Government Medical College, Ambajogai

In order to make your window of opportunity broader to grab a seat for MBBS at most of the Public/Government medical colleges in Maharashtra, you should have fetched more than 560 marks .

Good day, dear aspirant.

Various categories have different cutoffs. For government colleges, the general category cutoffs are substantially higher, whilst the cutoffs for SC, ST, and OBCs are quite low. For the general category, a score of 570+ is required for admission to a government medical college. This is a good score that will get you into a good college based on AIQ or state quota. You can use the following college predictor to obtain an idea of which universities you might be accepted to:

I hope it was useful.
