Hii Harikrishna.Your marks are good.As per the previous year cutoffs you have a good chance of getting admission to the NIT Calicut but it cannot tell anything about the branch.You should apply for other good NITs such as NIT Warangal, NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal, NIT Nagpur,etc but still you have compromise with the branch.All the best.

Yes you can. However, you may not get yout choice of branch, depending on whether you are Home State, Other State, reservation category etc.

Your score should be good enough for any branch apart from CSE, ECE and Mechanical (assuming you belong to general category). If you are from reserved category, or did your 12th in Kerala, then you may be eligibe to get into these branches also. You can refer to previous year cut-off ranks for more insights. My guess is your rank will be around 10k region, but you can never be sure.
