• Firstly you have to visit the site of DTE that is www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in. Here you have to fill the application form with the appropriate data before the end date.
• Then you will be called at a DTE centre according to your residential area where there will be document verification.
• Then after 2-3 days provisional list will be displayed where you will be allow to change or add the documents if required.
• After the above procedure final list will be displayed and then you will be allow for the cap round 1. Where you have to fill the college's you want with their proper college code.
• After a week the list will be displayed who are selected or not selected with the college names in it. There is a condition for preferences for the college. If you have added  1st preference for xyz college and you get that college in the list, then you have to take admission in that college or you will not be able to attend the further cap round
• If you want to go for the cap 2 you can opt for it. It is the same as 1st round
• The list will be displayed
• The following will be with the Cap round 3
• You can opt for rounds till the last one but after that you are not eligible for the further process of cap and it's benefits
