As u must be well aware of the fact that private medical colleges are really expensive n unaffordable for most of the students of India so competition is basically pin pointed to the government colleges mostly. As in my opinion no private medical college would just take you without extracting this money. If you hold a merit you might get concessions that again varies from college to college. I would suggest you to prioritize few colleges and then look at their different set of criteria's and admission procedure and then decide what would be most feasible and convenient.
