Astrophysics branch is not very much exposed in India, and there are very less institutes that will offer a career in Astrophysics. Some institutes that offer undergraduate degree in Astrophyics, rather basic Physics, because astrophysics degree can be achieved as a masters in Physics, after you have completed your basic graduation in Physics are: IISER, IIST, IIT DELHI, IUPAC, etc.
Institutes as as IIST, IISC Banglore are completely admitted to basic science, and there admission process is through KVPY, JEE main, JEE advance, NEET.
In case you missed the opportunity through above exams, try doing B.SC in basic physics from any common institute and then apply for PG in Astrophysics, in any of these institutes. You may also go for IIT JAM exam to pursue astrophysics in IIT Dlehi. Several other institutes such as TIFR, also offere courses in Astrophysics. But basic requirement is a bachelors in Physics.
